Iceland: Today marks the opening of Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Hilton has announced the launch of Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel in the Icelandic capital.

The hotel is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, a global collection of almost 50 upper upscale, unique hotels and resorts celebrated for their individuality.

The property was once a 1900s department store. The interiors of the hotel are inspired by the historical grandeur of Consul Thomsen, the owner of the historic store.
