Sri Lanka: Cantaloupe Hotels Group has launched rooftop restaurant Botanik

Sri Lanka's Cantaloupe Hotels Group has announced the launch of Botanik, a new restaurant in the centre of Colombo.

The restaurant is a collaboration with Sri Lankan-born chef Rishi Naleendra of Cheek by Jowl in Singapore. The rustic-chic designed restaurant overlooks the city's skyline from its perch in the financial district. The interior features a 34-foot-long island bar centrepiece show kitchen and an al fresco terrace with panoramic views.  

Botanik will offer a contemporary bistro concept that celebrates prime meats such as steaks and lamb and local seafood. An extensive drinks has been compiled by French native and Cantaloupe Hotels Group F&B Manager, Mathieu Delin, who drew on his experiences in London and Dubai to create an eclectic cocktail menu.

Botanik is the latest step taken by Cantaloupe Hotels Group's as it aims to deliver lifestyle experiences that showcase the country's culture and cuisine. This anticipated of Botanik also comes as Cantaloupe Hotels Group prepares to expand in Galle on the south coast of Sri Lanka.
