UK: The Chester Grosvenor has completed a renovation of its restaurant

The Chester Grosvenor has unveiled its new look restaurant and bar following a £350k renovation.

La Brasserie and Champagne and Cocktail Bar have reopened featuring a new design centered around a painted glass skylight, plus two 3D bespoke art installations made from laser-cut gold metal leaves.

The hotel announced in January that it had closed its 2 AA rosette restaurant to undergo a refurbishment, with the introduction of a new Champagne bar marking a first for the city.

General manager, The Chester Grosvenor, Richard Grove, comments: "We are delighted to announce the reopening of the all-new and breathtaking La Brasserie. With the brand-new look comes the stunning Champagne and Cocktail Bar with arguably one of the most opulent drinks list in the city, as well as a stunning new food menu created by head chef Gareth Jones and his team. With the plans being in the pipeline for quite some time, we couldn't be more thrilled with long-awaited results and we hope our loyal customers and new ones like will enjoy La Brasserie as much as we are."

The restaurant is also launching new lunch and dinner menus created by head chef Gareth Jones and overseen by Simon Radley. A new cocktail menu has been made for the bar.
