Preferred announces new hotels for 2019

US: Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced 23 new properties scheduled to launch across the globe in 2019.

These include a new resort in Indonesia and a bohemian resort in Costa Rica, to a stately luxury hotel in the American South and a sustainable retreat in Georgia. These new independent hotels aim to offer travellers an unparalleled world-class service and one-of-a-kind experiences that reveal the true essence of each destination.

Lelewatu Resort Sumba in Indonesia will open in April 2019. Scattered over 10 acres of land, the resort's 27 luxurious  villas are designed with authentic Sumbanese wooden interiors, handwoven ikat fabrics, indoor marble baths, and private pools.

Hotel Bennett in Charleston, South Carolina, US will open in January 2019. Overlooking Charleston's iconic Marion Square, the hotel will comprise 179 luxurious guestrooms and suites, a signature restaurant with stunning views of Charleston's famed park, a stylish bar and lounge utilizing reclaimed pink marble, and a French bakery serving fine patisserie crafted onsite.

The First Roma Dolce in Rome, Italy, that will open in February 2019. The First Roma Dolce, sister property to the award-winning The First Roma Arte, is set in a 19th century building on Via del Corso -just a stone's throw from attractions such as Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and The Vatican.

Other hotel openings announced by Preferred Hotels & Resorts include Santarena Hotel in Las Catalinas, Costa Rica, that will open in February 2019 and Hotel EQ in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle, that will open in March 2019.
