Best Western opens first Aiden properties
US: Less than two months after launching its Aiden and Sadie boutique brands, Best Western has opened the first Aiden property, with sadie’s debut to follow shortly.
The first Aiden Hotel has opened in Seoul, South Korea,
in the city's Gangnam-gu neighbourhood. The 151-room boutique hotel
has a multifunctional public area, mobile check-in and locally
inspired design.
The second Aiden Hotel is set to open in December just north of
Paris. The 90-room hotel will have a bar and restaurant, a pool and
three meeting rooms. Guestrooms will highlight local designs.
The first three Sadie Hotel properties are coming to Florida,
Texas and New York in 2020. A 70-room Sadie hotel in Tampa is
slated to open in the spring of 2020. A New York City location will
follow, along with a property in Fredericksburg in Texas' Hill
Country, home to more than 45 wineries and vineyards.
"We're thrilled with the early interest we've seen in both Aiden
Hotel and Sadie Hotel brands, and are excited to have our first
Aiden Hotel open in a key global market like Seoul, just weeks
after launching," said David Kong, president and CEO of Best
Western Hotels & Resorts. "As these brands grow, it will become
evident how different Aiden Hotel and Sadie Hotel are [from] any
other brands, as they intertwine technology with art, bring
innovation and colourful, locally inspired design to each
location."
