UK: The CEO of Nadler Hotels has stepped down

Robert Nadler has resigned from the position of CEO of Nadler Hotels following a disagreement with shareholders regarding the future direction of the company.

Nadler founded the company 12 years ago. It was originally launched as Base2Stay, with one hotel in Kensington, London. Since its foundation Nadler Hotels has grown to four properties: three in London (Kensington, Soho and Victoria) and one in Liverpool.

Yvonne Jackson, previously operations director of Nadler Hotels for the past six years, will act as interim chief executive. She holds more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry.

Nadler Hotels was launched with the aim of offering affordable luxury to guests. It aimed to achieve this by cutting out facilities that are often underused in city hotels, such as a restaurant, bar, gym or spa. Each bedroom offers a mini-kitchen, allowing for self-catering.

Two further openings are planned for the group in 2019 in Covent Garden and Manchester.
