Joe Martin named F&B director at The Camby

US: The Camby, a lifestyle hotel in Phoenix, Arizona, has named Joe Martin as food and beverage director.

In his new role, Martin oversees operations for Artizen Crafted American Kitchen & Bar, the rooftop Wade Poolside Bar and the property's banquet operations.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he has held positions as food and beverage director at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and the luxury boutique Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, California.

In February 2017, Martin's professional journey brought him full circle to where his career launched at The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix, only this time the property is now rebranded The Camby.

Martin studied hotel and restaurant management at Scottsdale Community College and has worked at high profile culinary events, including venues such as the James Beard House in New York, Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado.
