UK: Bespoke furniture manufacturer Style Matters has supplied The Curtain, a hotel, restaurant and members' club opening in London's Shoreditch in May.

The Cheshire-based family-run firm has supplied a range of furniture throughout the venue, including armchairs, coffee tables and sofas. Styled to celebrate its British roots, the products range from the Retro dining chair to the Art Deco-inspired Daphne lounge chair.

Situated in Shoreditch, the venue has taken its name from the road on which it is situated. Described as a "London home for creative entrepreneurs", the nine-storey property features an industrial brick façade and traditional factory-style windows.

The hotel, restaurant and members club features a rooftop restaurant and pool, 24-hour gym, wellness area, member's club and live performance space, ballroom, screening room, private dining room and Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster Restaurant.

The property is owned by Michael Achenbaum of the Gansevoort Hotel Group.

Claire Fox, director at Style Matters, said: "The name Michael Achenbaum is well known in the hotel business, so to work on this latest project is absolutely fantastic. The Curtain House Hotel and Members Club will bring a new dimension to Shoreditch and provide people with the ultimate in luxury accommodation."

Style Matters worked alongside FF&E procurement firm Benjamin West International on the project.
