Ireland: Luxury Adare Manor has launched BYOD software as part of extensive refurbishment

Luxury Adare Manor in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, has selected an Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise telephony and BYOD Mobile Guest Softphone solution for its guests and staff.

The addition is part of a large-scale refurbishment in preparation for its bid to host the 2026 Ryder Cup.

The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise technology will provide guests with resort-wide voice connectivity via in-room touchscreen phones and on their own personal mobile devices through a mobile-app.

The app allows guests to book a departure time, make a spa or restaurant reservation or call the concierge. The comprehensive solution is integrated into front of house activities, helping resort teams to collaborate to ensure that they can provide services. From the mobile app, staff can report when rooms are ready, log and sign-off maintenance tasks and respond to customer service requests.
