Nicaragua: Auberge to manage luxury Nicaragua resort

Auberge Resorts Collection, which owns and operates a range of small luxury resorts, will manage multi-award-winning luxury Nicaraguan resort, the Mukul.

Mukul opened as Nicaragua's first luxury resort in 2013. The resort was developed by prominent Nicaraguan entrepreneur Don Carlos Pellas. It features 37-rooms and is surrounded by a private beach.

Don Carlos Pellas, Owner and Developer of Mukul said: "I am so pleased about our new relationship with Auberge Resorts Collection, whose team shares my commitment to the highest standards and my passion for highly personalized service."

Mukul complements Auberge's other award-winning Central American resort, Hacienda AltaGracia, a private estate hotel located in the south-central highlands of Costa Rica.

Dan Friedkin, Owner and Chairman, Auberge Resorts Collection said: "Mukul is an extraordinary destination and a testament to the vision of Don Carlos Pellas, who created a uniquely Nicaraguan experience that rivals the great resorts of the world. We are delighted to welcome Mukul to the Auberge portfolio and expand our presence of exceptional resorts in Central America."
