UK: The former Old Street Magistrates Court in London’s Shoreditch is to reopen as a boutique hotel on June 1st.

A £40 million renovation project has seen the Grade II listed building transformed in to a luxury hotel with restaurants, bars, a bowling alley a spa and a cinema

Located in both the old and new wings of the building are 86 guest rooms and 42 suites, including the Shoreditch Sky Terrace Suites, a pair of 60 square metre one-bedroom residences, each with a private bar and mini cinema lounge.

The former Courtroom Number 1 hosts a casual fine dining restaurant whilst Courtroom Number 2 has been transformed into a members' bar.

The contemporary wing houses a 196-seat cinema; a two-lane lane bowling alley with private bar and an events space capable of accommodating 450 people sit down or 900 reception-style.

The spa features an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, treatment rooms, steam room and sauna.
