Koehn promoted to GM role at Chicago’s Kinzie Hotel

US: Patti Koehn has been appointed general manager at the Kinzie Hotel in Chicago.

US: Patti Koehn has been appointed general manager at the Kinzie Hotel in Chicago.

Koehn has a background in both large and boutique hotels throughout the Chicago area. In 1986, she was appointed as the director of rooms division at the Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. From there she moved to the Arlington Park Hilton as assistant general manager. She continued in this role at the Radisson Hotel & Suites, Chicago in 1994 and became general manager at the Talbott Hotel, Chicago in 1997, where she oversaw both an $8 million and $15 million renovation.

In 2003, she joined the opening team at the Amalfi Hotel (now Kinzie Hotel) where she moved from assistant general manager to her new role.

Her new position "entails the oversight of all hotel operations, playing a heavy hand in the rebranding process of the hotel and continued growth for the property".
