China: Sino Group of Hotels has opened The Pottinger Hong Kong, a luxury boutique hotel in Hong Kong's oldest stone slab street.

The Pottinger Street property has 68 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 23 to 68 square metres, and is five minutes' walk from Central MTR Station.

It has installed photographs from acclaimed photographer Fan Ho in the rooms and corridors. Ho spent decades with his camera, capturing images of Hong Kong.

The hotel's interiors have been created by Australian interior designer Suzy Annetta, founder of Studio Annetta. Sino Group says she is "highly regarded for her use of colour and for interiors characterised by refined surfaces and beautiful materials".

Sino Group of Hotels says it is looking to expand its portfolio in Hong Kong and regional gateway cities, and claims the launch of The Pottinger Hong Kong "signifies a strategic phase of development in Sino Group of Hotels that will synergise positively and enhance promising and better results for Sino Group".
