Philippines boutique hotel to join Accor’s MGallery

Philippines: Anchor Land Holdings Inc. has engaged Accor Group to manage the Admiral Hotel in Manila.

Anchor is spending more than P1 billion (£13 million) to rebuild and renovate the historic Roxas Boulevard property into a five-star boutique hotel fronting Manila Bay. The redevelopment will start in Q3 2014 is expected to be completed in Q4 2016.

The Admiral Hotel will be the first MGallery Hotel in the Philippines. Patrick Basset, chief operating officer for Accor Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos,
Myanmar and the Philippines, said: "We are delighted that the Admiral Boutique Hotel will join the MGallery Collection of unique hotels. Once complete, this enchanting, historical hotel situated in a marvelous location in Manila will be the perfect showcase accommodation of what the MGallery hotel brand has to offer."

The Admiral Hotel is part of the Anchor Land Admiral Baysuites project which includes a 53-story condominium.
