Hotelogix receives $1.8 million investment

India: HMS Infotech Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates Hotelogix, has received $1.8 million in funding.

India: HMS Infotech Pvt Ltd, which owns and operates Hotelogix, has received $1.8 million in funding.

Hotelogix is a SaaS-based property management system (PMS) for small and medium scale hotels. The funding came from existing investor Accel Partners and Bangalore-based early-and-growth-stage VC fund Saama Capital.

In April 2012, Hotelogix raised $1.2 million led by Accel Partners, with participation from Blume Ventures and Mumbai Angels.

The latest funding will be used to "create awareness and drive adoption of cloud PMS technology, in addition to increase its user base", according to reports.

Hotelogix was founded in 2008 by Prabhash Bhatnagar and Aditya Sanghi. Its products are used in 75 countries including the US, the UK, Mexico, Spain, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
