The Melrose Georgetown Hotel appoints Jale Hashimi as GM

US: The Melrose Georgetown Hotel in Washington DC has named Jale Hashimi as its new general manager.

Hashimi has more than 20 years hotel experience in middle and executive level management, and has previously served as general manager of the Churchill Embassy Row Hotel in Washington, D.C. and Embassy Suites Dulles Airport in Herndon, Virginia.

She has also had GM roles at Hilton Singer Island in Riviera Beach, Florida, and Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Washington, D.C.

Hashimi attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Viginia, where she received a degree in finance. Her education also includes a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia.
