US: The 172-room WestHouse New York is preparing to welcome guests from November 15.

The hotel, at 201 West 55th St. between 7th Ave. and Broadway, says it has been "designed to satisfy the world's most discerning guests in an environment reminiscent of a luxurious New York Townhouse".

Its 172 guest rooms will include 18 suites, including a 1,500-square-foot presidential suite with dual views of Central Park and Times Square. Each room features Wi-Fi, marble-top desks, 400 thread-count sheets, snacks from Dean & DeLuca, and an ambient scent specifically created by 12.29 for WestHouse. Terrace suites will have a private outdoor terrace and be furnished with Sleep Studio's bedding system.

Jeffrey Beers International conceived the overall Art Deco design for the 1927 building, which will have a bar, The Den, in the lobby level, and a 23rd floor restaurant, The Terrace, which has feature floor-to-ceiling windows.

WestHouse has partnered with concierge firm, Luxury Attache, to offer an in-house team of "expert lifestyle curators" to create personal itineraries guests.

General Manager Karla Keskin said the hotel "blends the exceedingly superb privileges of a private club with the elegant residential comforts of a refined hotel environment."
