Hotel Goodwin is a boutique hotel that opened in September 2018 in downtown Beloit, Wisconsin. BHN talks to general manager Karen Niffenegger about her plans for the future of Hotel Goodwin.

  • What makes Hotel Goodwin unique?

Turntables with vinyl collections in every room, three sided glass shower enclosures, eye catching artwork throughout the hotel, and the genuine service delivered to each and every guest makes Hotel Goodwin unique.

  • Why did you choose the location of downtown Beloit, Wisconsin?

Geronimo Hospitality Group (GHG) is committed to the revitalisation of downtown Beloit.  We also saw the demand for another lodging option downtown through the success of Ironworks Hotel, which is also owned and operated by GHG.

  • Hotel Goodwin features restaurant Velvet Buffalo. What can you tell us about that?

Velvet Buffalo offers a worldly experience through its expertly chosen wine and culinary menus, bringing people together to sip, savour and share.

  • What can you say about Geronimo Hospitality Group who manage the hotel?

GHG aims to provide memorable guest experiences through our genuine service and original brands.  Currently, we own and operate two fitness facilities, four hotels, seven restaurants, an event centre and a country club…with more to come!

  • Does Hotel Goodwin have a specific target audience?

We do not, we encourage everyone to come visit and to expect the unexpected!
