Manchester's newly burgeoning reputation as a hotel hot spot got a boost in November with the opening of Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs' Stock Exchange Hotel.

The listed former trading hall has undergone a major renovation and an elegant redesign in keeping with the style of the building. The two former Manchester United stars are quietly building a diverse hospitality portfolio - most of it with a football theme (Cafe Football, Hotel Football) - and all of it well considered and presented. Footballers often make the news for negative reasons but Giggs and Neville hit the headlines when they allowed a group of homeless people to stay in the Stock Exchange building over the winter of 2015/16, with the only stipulation being that surveyors and other work people would be able to gain access to the building as and when they needed to.

The Stock Exchange Bespoke's joins Hotel Gotham and Hotel Brooklyn  in the new wave of stylish Manchester hotels, with forthcoming openings to come from Soho House, Nadler Hotelsand The Zetter.
