USA: San Francisco’s Galleria Park Hotel has revealed a multimillion-dollar renovation and redesign

Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco's financial district has unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation and redesign to its entrance, lobby, and mezzanine.

The redesigned hotel draws inspiration from its history, preserving architectural features while utilising modern aesthetics to augment the guest experience.

The new entryway features marble tile flooring, and opens into an expansive, two-story lobby area, including a mezzanine. The lobby's walls are adorned with antiqued mirrors and colorful abstract artwork, in addition to plush furnishings and bold carpeting.

The new mezzanine invites guests to enjoy food and drink from Gaspar Brasserie, while the lobby's lounge seating creates an inviting space that promotes socialising among guests.

General manager Suzie Yang said: "Over the years, our guests have expressed a desire for a casual common area where they can enjoy cocktails. We saw this renovation as the perfect opportunity to create a new experience out of the existing mezzanine, offering our guests the freedom to enjoy the vibrancy of the lobby from a contemporary and intimate space."
