The Waldhaus Flims Alpine Grand Hotel & Spa, an Alpine resort in Flims, Switzerland, has announced that it has joined The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd.

Waldhaus Flims is currently celebrating its 140th anniversary. It was originally established as an alpine summer destination spa hotel in 1877. The resort boasts a five-star spa that features a modern fitness facility, multiple rejuvenating pools and world-class treatment rooms.

Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. (LHW) is a consortium of over 375 luxury hotels and resorts in around 75 countries with headquarters in New York. The company selects only hotels that meet its high standards for quality and distinctiveness.

Jim Zenni, president and chief executive officer of Z Capital said: "Joining an organization as prestigious as The Leading Hotels of the World, which upholds the highest standards of quality in hospitality, is a great honor. Having just acquired the Waldhaus Flims in December 2015, we have worked tirelessly to renovate the property and transform this unique facility into a truly premier destination. Receiving this distinction is gratifying and I am confident that Waldhaus Flims will provide guests a world-class experience in this unforgettable destination for many years to come."
