Dubai: Marriott International announces Renaissance Dubai debut

Marriott International has announced the launch of Renaissance Downtown Hotel Dubai, located in Dubai's Business Bay district.

The design of the 298-guestroom and 65-suite hotel was led by interior firm WA International. The interiors feature a dynamic art installation of Dubai's cityscape and a 3D iron rod sculpture that reimagines Pablo Picasso's famous camel sketch.

Brian Povinelli, Senior Vice President & Global Brand Leader, Renaissance Hotels said: "The spectacular new Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai is theatrical, unexpected and sets the stage for discovering Dubai's newest neighborhood. With its bold, artful design, vibrant global dining scene and engaging experiences around every corner, the hotel embraces a spirit that inspires guests to discover something wonderfully new every time they travel."

Culinary outlets include chef Masaharu Morimoto's first U.A.E. outpost and chef David Myers' new contemporary concepts Bleu Blanc & BASTA!, which reflect a Southern French farmhouse and an urban interpretation of a Roman trattoria. BHAR will serve up Middle Eastern cuisine.

Marriott International will celebrate the grand opening of its Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai, with an exclusive concert by global superstar Gwen Stefani. The concert is part of the hotel chain's global partnership with Universal Music Group.
