Regent Hotels & Resorts appoints Michael Posch as GM of Regent Porto Montenegro
Montenegro: Regent Hotels & Resorts has appointed Michael Posch as GM of Regent Porto Montenegro, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2014.
Posch brings with him 21 years of experience in the hospitality
industry, and joins from Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz
where he was also general manager. He will be responsible for
leading and managing operations at Regent Porto Montenegro.
Steven Pan, chairman of Regent Hotels & Resorts, said: "We are excited about the imminent opening of Regent Porto Montenegro, our second hotel in Europe after Regent Berlin, and I am confident that Michael's expertise in luxury hospitality and experience in current growth markets will be advantageous to the successful opening of this bespoke, luxury hotel on the Adriatic Sea."
The resort is situated on Montenegro's Bay of Kotor. It will feature 34 hotel rooms and 54 one- to four-bedroom residences in a terracotta-roofed, Renaissance-inspired building.
